Ufesas

Very solid first EP from this Uruguay foursome, tapping into heavy psych tendencies that curl thick with smoke and glue matted beer residue. Though the band only have 4 songs with which to make their impression it's a fairly strong document indeed; three fuzz soaked burners evened out with a touch of acoustic blues to keep the vitriol down. Nice to see the band shouting out their country's own Dias De Blues as an influence and honestly it does show through in the curdling guitar work. Hopefully the band can keep the intensity up on a full length and find themselves a nice U.S. label to pick this up.
